Iris Rico has joined the Conrad Prebys Foundation as Controller. She will direct the Foundation’s daily financial processes in her role, working with the CFO and the Director of Operations to develop systems and procedures to support the Foundation’s philanthropic work.
Iris, who grew up in San Diego, is a licensed, certified public accountant (CPA) with over twenty years of experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, auditing, and private fund accounting. Professional experience includes public accounting, a sizeable public company, and a growing employee company. Prior experience includes audit/internal controls, outsourcing implementation, procedure documentation, management reporting, variance analysis, and budgeting. Most recently, she worked for industry leaders, including Axos Bank and Sony Electronics.
