Phuong Gines

Phuong Gines is the Business Operations Administrator at the Prebys Foundation, where she supports the team behind the scenes and at the front desk to help our work run smoothly and effectively. She brings nearly a decade of public service experience from the County of San Diego, where she supported multiple departments through business operations, administrative coordination, and cross-functional collaboration — always with a strong focus on care, clarity, and service to the community. 

Serving others has always been at the heart of Phuong’s career. Growing up in a Vietnamese-speaking household, she often helped her family navigate complex systems, an experience that shaped her passion for making processes more accessible and helping people feel heard and supported. She will continue that journey through the mission of the Prebys Foundation. 

Outside of work, Phuong enjoys family time, cooking and learning new recipes, and creative projects. She also loves cuddling with her ​“furiends,” Bob and Bill. Purpose, people, and a little bit of laughter make for her favorite kind of work — and helping others while making people smile will always be her favorite combination.
