The Prebys Leadership Awards, formerly Leaders in Belonging, annually recognizes five leaders with a track record of promoting well-being for San Diego County.

Prebys aims to support immersive job opportunities, including paid internships and apprenticeships that give young adults the skills and training needed to be successful in the workplace and grow within a career sector.

Prebys Foundation is excited to announce new initiatives as part of our Arts Strategy! Through these, the foundation will fund organizations located in and serving San Diego County that align with our vision and goals in this focus area.

These grants are designed to provide vital support to organizations that serve patients facing high barriers to excellent care.

The Foundation’s priority for its first two years was to provide much-needed funding during the pandemic to organizations doing great work in San Diego.

Prebys Foundation aims to improve community health and well-being through access to arts, culture, and nature.

Prebys aims to identify or expand promising efforts to address mental and behavioral health challenges to improve social, emotional wellbeing; and to find or expand effective treatments to prevent or reduce anxiety, depression, or substance abuse.

Prebys Foundation aims to invest in innovative, high-potential programs to increase collaboration in the healthcare workforce field.

We are expanding the methods and the timing in which it makes grants to include open applications, requests for proposals, invitations, and community‐led grantmaking.
